Catella Fonder goes live with a new Fund management platform from Invest Systems and Fonda System
Stockholm - January 18th, 2010 - Invest Systems and Fonda System have in co-operation with Catella Fonder successfully implemented a solution enclosing SECURA and FONDA into one single and highly scalable platform across a number of functional areas increasing operating efficiency and reducing the risk of multiple systems. The implemented solution covers enhanced functionalities for performance measurements, compliance, audit trail, direct debit, performance fee calculation, complete reporting to clients and authorities as well as support of a broad range of derivatives, etc.
The implemented solution also offer connectivity features, such as SECURA API, enabling easy integration with 3rd party systems as for example fund distributors or web services. Connectivity features provided by the new platform have resulted in an increased level of automation of the work-flow throughout Catella Fonder's administrative operations.
The new installation, which replaced a 4-year old installation provided by another vendor, has been live since January 18, 2010 and handle 20 funds with over 30 000 fund transactions on a monthly basis. The conversion and migration of historic data from the previous system exceeds 1,6 million fund transactions.
